Yes, chiropractic care is generally considered safe when performed by a licensed and trained chiropractor. The treatments are non-invasive and designed to help the body heal naturally. As with any medical treatment, it's important to discuss your health history with your chiropractor beforehand.
Chiropractic care is commonly used to treat a variety of musculoskeletal issues, such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, and sports injuries. Chiropractors can also assist with conditions like poor posture, joint stiffness, and limited mobility.
The timeline for seeing results varies depending on the condition being treated, its severity, and the individual’s response to care. Some patients feel relief after just one session, while others may require multiple visits over a few weeks to experience significant improvements.
During your first visit, your chiropractor will conduct a thorough consultation and physical exam to assess your problem area(s). We inquire about things like medical history, lifestyle, and any specific symptoms you're experiencing. Based on this information, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan, which may include spinal adjustments, stretches, or other therapies.
A referral is not necessary since we will not be billing insurance.
